We also would like to congratulate Anthony Varveris, this year’s recipient of the Brad Strahler Touchdown Club Memorial Scholarship.

In order to continue the support of our players and coaches, the Hilliard Davidson Touchdown Club sponsors an annual "Meet the Team Night" in August. This year's event was held on August 12, 2005 at the Makoy Center in Hilliard.

This evening is the primary fundraising event for the football program and consists of the introduction of the team and coaches to the Hilliard Davidson football community, a motivational speaker presentation and buffet dinner. The highlight of the event however, is the silent auction.

The first two silent auctions (last year and this year) were both phenomenal successes. They assisted in providing funds for pre and post game meals, Gatorade hydration package ($700.00), individual awards and plaques, highlight videos, t-shirts for camp and play-offs, OCC/Regional patches, etc. In addition, a portion of the proceeds went toward a newly established scholarship fund, the Brad Strahler Touchdown Club Memorial Scholarship, which provided a senior football player with $1000 in funds for his college of choice.
