Hilliard Davidson Touchdown Club

In order to continue the support of our players and coaches, the Hilliard Davidson Touchdown Club sponsors an annual "Meet the Team Night" in August.  This year's event will be held on August 10, 2007 at the Makoy Center in Hilliard.

This evening is the primary fundraising event for the football program and consists of the introduction of the team and coaches to the Hilliard Davidson football community, a motivational speaker presentation and buffet dinner. One of the highlights of the event is the silent auction, where items donated by local businesses and supporting individuals are available for "bids" during the evening.  The highest bidder "wins" the item at the end of the evening.  The "live" auction, a big hit last year, will be back again thanks to several valuable ticket, trip and service donations.  The professional auctioneer will rev up the evening.

The last three silent auctions (2004 through 2006) were phenomenal successes, and this year's silent and live auctions will be better than ever. These funds assist in providing pre and post game meals, Gatorade hydration package, comfortable transportation to distant games, individual awards and plaques, highlight videos, t-shirts for camp and play-offs, OCC/Regional patches, etc. In addition, a portion of the proceeds go toward the scholarship fund, the Brad Strahler Touchdown Club Memorial Scholarship, which annually provides a senior football player with $1000 in funds for his college of choice.
